Hoodia Gordonii (Hoodia Gordonii) – is a South African cactus that grows in the Kalahari Desert. Of the 20 known types of Hoodia, only Hoodia Gordonii contains the substance that supresses the overwhelming feeling of hunger. The Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert use hoodia as food for thousands of years, using the plant to get rid of hunger and thirst during long journeys through the desert, as well as to remove pain, cramps, hemorrhoids, tuberculosis, indigestion, hypertension and diabetes. In the 90th years of the twentieth century, scientists of the National Laboratory in South Africa found that the ingredient Hoodia that suppresses appetite is a glycoside P57 which, like glucose, affects the receptors in the hypothalamus and activates the satiety center. The uniqueness of Hoodia is the absence of negative effects on other organs and body systems. This is particularly important given the fact that being overweight is often accompanied by diabetes, atherosclerosis, hypertension, coronary heart disease and other diseases. Clinical trials of Hoodia conducted in England in people who are overweight have given excellent results, allowing to reduce daily food intake by 1000 calories. Within 3-4 weeks, the volunteers reduced weight, on average, 10 % of the original that was not accompanied by a feeling of hunger. In addition, improvement in the blood was marked: reduce of glucose, cholesterol and low density lipoproteins. Negative effects were not noted, all testees tolerated the drug. Reception of Hoodia reduces body weight and improves anthropometric indicators (waist and thighs), as well as it reduces total cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) - is an effective means of weight control and the amount of fat in the body. CLA is contained mainly in animal fat and milk products. The British Nutrition Council has determined this food component as a collective term for the products of metabolism, resulting from the conversion of linoleic acid to oleic acid under the influence of the intestinal microflora. Numerous studies have found that CLA reduces body fat mass by reducing the amount of fat that is deposited after meals; increasing the degree of decomposition of fat in fat cells; the activation of fat metabolism, reduce of the number of fat cells.

Caffeine has long been used in medicine as an aphrodisiac, it is able to stimulate mental activity, and thanks to the caffeine we feel a surge of strength and energy after a cup of coffee. In addition, caffeine is a fat burner that contributes to weight loss. Caffeine breaks down fats and speeds up the burning of calories.

Hydroxycitric acid has the property to reduce the appetite and prevent the accumulation of fat. It inhibits the action of enzymes that convert excess energy into fat, increases the absorption of carbohydrates and amino acids of muscle tissue. The presence of hydroxycitric acid in the diet causes a decrease in appetite and thus reduces the amount of food consumed. Hydroxycitric acid inhibits an enzyme involved in the synthesis of fat and cholesterol, helps restore normal metabolism, increases fat burning and excess of glycogen, reduces appetite and cravings for sweets.

DL- choline bitartrate - is a source of choline necessary for the synthesis of most of the lipid components of cell membranes; it plays an important role in the transport of fat into the cell and out of the cell. With a deficit of choline in the diet, the level of carnitine (which provides fatty acid utilization for obtaining energy in the heart, liver and skeletal muscle) is reduced. Clinically it is manifested by intolerance of fat (diarrhea and meteorism with the consumption of fat), hypertension, heart rhythm disorder, a manifestation of liver and kidney failure.

Vitamin B8 (inosite)– participates in the regulation of fat metabolism, helps reduce cholesterol levels in the blood, preventing the development of atherosclerosis and obesity. According to scientific data, inosite improves blood rheology and prevents the formation of blood clots, it also improves elasticity of the arteries walls.

L-Methionine – is an essential amino acid, which is involved in the breakdown of fats, preventing their accumulation in the liver and blood vessels, improves the digestive system, helps to eliminate heavy metals, protects against radiation. The organism is able to convert L-methionine into amino acid cysteine, a predecessor of glutathione, which leads to prevent disintegration of the latter under overloading of the body with toxins. L-methionine regulates the function of the liver, accelerates recovery processes at high physical loads.

Gingerol is the active component of ginger - aromatic root of tropical plants, native to India. Ginger is one of the most useful spices. In Sanskrit it is called "vishvabhesadzh", which means "universal medicine". Sharp on the palate, it belongs to the category of "hot spices", activating blood circulation and improving digestion. Gingerol that produces the pungent taste of ginger activates the metabolism which promotes better digestion and weight loss.

Piperine – is an alkaloid which in present in different varieties of peppers, it activates the absorption and digestion, improves the bioavailability of other components and also has a range of other positive pharmacological effects: it activates the immune system, has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, and neutralizes the action of carcinogens.
